Isabel Reitemeyer (Germany, 1966) who trained as a window dresser, studied visual communication, worked as a graphic designer and as a set designer quickly realised that she did not want to “decorate” her artworks. Following her rule “less is more”, she uses little material and minimal interventions to tell a story, or create a person or animal. Her works are clean and reduced to the max, yet leave enough room for the viewer to use their own imagination.
